Born in Houston, TX and raised in Miami, FL, Diamond was exposed to a myriad of cultures and ways of creativity and expression at a young age. She always had an interest in community fellowship and developed a strong interest in event curation as the years went on and she dived more into her career in Radio.
Her passion for collaboration and building the community is only exceeded by her passion for helping people. This is the motivation behind In The Rough Marketing Agency. In the Summer of 2016, she had began working with local promoters in Columbia, SC to help build their social media calendars and to recruit vendors and community partners for their events. All while still working as a Marketing coordinator in Broadcast Radio, she was able to not only able to firsthand have the opportunity to connect with these organizers, but also see and learn the strategies in which these events were getting marketed to consumers. She realized that while she had enjoyed helping clients with their marketing initiatives from a corporate standpoint, she wanted to invest myself in a dream of her own.
After several years of working with various clients in Radio and fulfilling many out-sourced projects, on April 1, 2017, we launched In The Rough Marketing as a home-based agency, with the intention of providing rock solid tactics and loyalty to our clients every step of the way. Eventually, by reputation and word of mouth, we started gaining additional clients that entrusted us with their initiatives. This evolution lead toa desire to also execute and curate our own events where we were both still assisting clients while curating our own experiences.
